No amount of cowardly and deceitful whitewashing by MCA President Liow Tiong Lai and Gerakan President Mah Siew Keong can hide the truth that both Gerakan and MCA supports the Deputy Prime Minister in making racist, bigoted and extremist threats of May 13 incidents against non-Malays and non-Muslims. Both had tried to whitewash Muhyiddin Yassin’s threats of another May 13 if the Malays and Muslims continue to be insulted by casually dismissing the threat as just a “reminder” to Malaysians not to take the country’s peace for granted.

How can Muhyiddin’s threats be a reminder when only the non-Malays and non-Muslims are blamed? By assigning blame on the non-Muslims and non-Malays for causing any future May 13 riots, Muhyiddin is first dehumanizing them should there be any violence on non-Muslim and non-Malays.

Muhyiddin has obviously lied when he failed to show proof of non-Malay nor non-Muslim organisations insulting Malays and Muslims. Instead, pro-UMNO groups have threatened the lives or to hurt DAP leaders, attacked and threatened to burn down DAP headquarters in Kuala Lumpur and offices in Kuantan without any action against the perpetrators.

Because they fear the Deputy Prime Minister more than truth and justice, Liow Tiong Lai and Mah Siew Keong has taken the unprincipled stand of supporting Muhyiddin Yassin’s racist and extremist threats against non-Malays and non-Muslims. Malaysians have no hopes of a better future under BN when Ministerial positions are more valuable than respect for justice, freedom and democracy in Malaysia.

Liow does not even have the courage to state his position whether he agreed with what Muhyiddin had said and tried to divert attention by saying that the country must unite in the fight against extremists and militants. Does the MCA President have the courage to fight against extremists when it is the Deputy Prime Minister himself?

This is the same MCA and Gerakan of the past, continually dominated not only by UMNO but also paralysed by fear of losing their perk and privileges of power and Ministerial office. For those who harbor some hopes of a different MCA and Gerakan that dares to stand up to the politics of lies, threats and fear of UMNO, it is time to wake up and give up on BN by recalling former MCA President Chua Soi Lek’s words that Liow Tiong Lai is the worst MCA President ever because Liow has no guts.

How can UMNO respect a MCA to even dare to fight for the rights of the rakyat against UMNO, when MCA dare not even put up a candidate to stand in the recent Bukit Glugor parliamentary by-election? MCA and Gerakan is just another mindless and obedient puppet of UMNO.
