The appointment of PAS’ state secretary into the Sabah State Legislative Assembly is mirroring what will happen if Sarawakians vote for those who allied with Perikatan Nasional.

The victory of Perikatan Nasional and its allies in Sabah’s recent state election has opened the doors for PAS to influence the way Sabah is governed.

Sarawak will suffer the same fate if we allow it.

The extremist ideology that Pas is so well known for is irrelevant in a state that is multiracial and multireligious.

Sabah and Sarawak is a state where religious extremists must be rejected.

The bible humiliation is a recent example that Sarawakians must take into account. When PAS makes such an accusation and refuses to apologize, this shows that the party has failed to understand the culture of us east Malaysians.

Those in Sarawak who think it is better to support PAS than DAP have not paid close attention.

They have forgotten that it is that particular party that hurts the feeling of most Christians in our country particularly those in Sabah and Sarawak.

It is also the right for Sarawak to choose a clean, just and inclusive government where every anak Sarawak regardless of their race or religion will be protected and celebrated.

Sarawakians must collectively rebuild our beloved Sarawak so that the future generations will live in a better country than we are currently in.

For 57 years we have endured. It is time reject extremists and incompetent politicians who run our state. It is now or never.
