电脑验车中心喊冤：
没有强制消防车贴上限速标签
电脑验车中心（PUSPAKOM）喊冤，发文告澄清该中心从未发出指示强制消防车贴上限速标签！
《中国报》在10月16日一篇新闻报导中，引述文冬玻璃口志愿消防队主席林胜鸿，指“电脑验车中心重新归属交通部后，执行了许多繁文缛节，诸多刁难，给志愿消防队带来困扰和麻烦，其中最大的困扰是强制消防车贴上限时速70/80的标签，对分秒必争赶赴救火的消防部队而言，是“开倒车”的做法。”
此外，《中国报》也在该篇报导中指出，“电脑验车中心早前是陆路交通委员会负责，不过在509大选后，重新归属交通部管理。”
事实上，电脑验车中心是由前朝政府时期就开始由政府委托协助陆路交通局检验车辆。其中并无所谓重新归属交通部之说法。《中国报》在文中刻意强调换政府后刻意执行繁文缛节、甚至诸多刁难，根本是恶意抹黑希望联盟政府。
做为老牌媒体在报导新闻前应该查证事实，而不是刻意捏造带有攻击的文字内容。此外，虽然中国报在网站的帖文已经删除，并无法浏览，可是在面子书上的贴文依然存在。许多网民已经截图四处传播。若是中国报愿意负起身为老牌媒体的责任，那就应该澄清以正视听。

电脑验车中心通讯与客户服务部今日针对《中国报》该篇报导发表文告已经阐明：该中心在验车过程中，从来没有要求消防车贴上限速标签。
验车中心指出，根据1987年陆路交通法令，所有商用车辆，包括消防车必须在每6个月接受电脑验车中心检查，确保车辆符合行驶要求。
“在撰写文告之时，我们尝试联系报导中的消防队主席了解详情惟联系不上。我们希望消防队主席可以拨打1-800-88-6927联系我们，我们非常乐意为消防队成员讲解有关验车中心对消防车验车检查的要求和指标。”
验车中心强调，电脑验车中心致力于为所有尊贵的客户提供高效率的优质检验服务，电脑验车中心检验车辆是为了确保所有车辆都符合1987年陆路交通法令及相关附属规定标准。

IT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT TO HAVE SPEED LIMIT STICKER FOR FIRE ENGINE
VEHICLE INSPECTION
We refer to the article published on China Press today titled “Speed Limit Sticker Required For PUSPAKOM Inspection”.
PUSPAKOM Sdn Bhd (PUSPAKOM) would like to clarify that it is not a requirement to have a speed limit sticker on the body of fire engine vehicle during its inspection. Under The Road Transport Act 1987, commercial vehicles including fire engine vehicle are required to undergo
Routine Inspection at PUSPAKOM every 6 months to ensure it is roadworthy.
At the time of writing, PUSPAKOM has tried to contact the president of the association with relate to the matter but to no avail. We hope the President could contact us on 1-800-88-6927 and we would be more than happy to conduct a briefing for the members of the association to enable them to understand the inspection requirement for fire engine vehicle.
